Our Christmas lunch menu is served daily (subject to availability) 1st-23rd december inclusive.

Pre-bookings only.  All our food is cooked to order, so we do ask for pre-orders on starters and main courses so we can prepare accordingly.


Private Room Hire
We have a 1st floor room available for private hire, known as The Loft.  Please contact us directly if you are interested in hiring out the room, the terms & conditions for which are stated below.  Please be aware, these T&Cs are for private hire only, not for general reservations at the tearoom.
  
Terms & Conditions
  Initial Enquiry
 - An enquiry means any request by telephone, face-to-face, email or Facebook message to hold your event, meeting or party in the Loft room at The Old Dairy Tearoom.  
 - Any enquiry will be held provisionally for 7 days, during which time an email with these full terms & conditions will be sent to the organiser.  By post may take up to 5 working days.
 - By the end of the 7 day period, the booking must be confirmed or cancelled (by any communication method, for the attention of Zoe or Joanne).  If we do not hear from you, we assume you will not be going ahead and release the date to other interested parties.
 - Menu choice and approximate numbers must be given to the Tearoom at the time of confirmation
 - £25 room hire fee secures your booking.  All exclusive hires of the Loft room at the Tearoom between the hours of 10:00-17:00 are subject to the room hire charge.  Non-refundable

 
Room Hire charge inclusions and exclusions

Inclusions:
 - Exclusive use of the room, with bunting decoration, clothed tables and table decoration.  This includes seating for 24 guests (maximum of 16 around 1 table, more than 16 will be arranged over multiple tables).
 - Tea & coffee included, with local apple juice offered as an alternative when choosing the afternoon tea menu
 - Provision of wine glasses (we are not licensed to sell alcohol, however you are welcome to bring your own wine).  It is not permitted to bring your own soft drinks.
 - Cake cutting facilities (where applicable, if you bring your own cake)
 - “Doggy bags” for those with a smaller appetite!
 - All cutlery, crockery, napkins & serving ware

 - Waitress service (where applicable) 
Exclusions:
 - Service charge ("tip", at your discretion)
 - Any additional decoration you may want to add (e.g. balloons, banners, flowers)
 - Cake boxes for taking away your own cake

No party poppers or indoor fireworks please
 
Numbers & Payment
 - Final guest numbers and full payment must be received 48 hours prior to your event.  Non- refundable*
 
Bank Details
As we are unauthorised to take payment over the 'phone, you can either make your payment in person at the tearoom, or via a bank transfer online or over the telephone with your bank.  Details will be supplied in the confirmation email.
 
Dietary requirements
Most dietary requirements can be accommodated, for example, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian & vegan.  Any dietary requirements should be given to us as soon as possible, no later than 7 days prior to your booking.
